Update from ZCM 10.3.3 to 11.1 - Directive Bundles

Dear Forum,

we are just preparing our enviroment for the update from 10.3.3 to 11.1 next week. Reading the ZENworks 11 Upgrade Guide chapter 2.1 gave us a headache.
It says "... converts the existing Directive Bundles to a Windows bundle" and "A Windows bundle supports all the categories that are supported by Directive Bundles except the Actions category" and finally "... a Directive bundle that has an Actions category is migrated as a Windows bundle with an empty category"

We have more than 200 Directive Bundles that have under Action->Launch one "Launch Executable" or "Launch URL" defined.

1.) Will our Launch Executable action be lost after migration?
3.) If so - Why?

I think only the category for the created Windows Bundle will be empty, not the Bundle itself. But we are a little bit afraid

Kkb,

it just means that the category shows as blank - I just tried upgrading
from 10.3.3 to 11.1 beta with 3 different directive bundles as you
describe, and they all converted just fine

Thanks a lot Spond. Now we feel much better.
Any Idea when the final version of ZCM 11.1 will be released?

Kkb,

we're hoping for less than 2 months, but don't quote me on it, anything
can happen 🙂 You should see release candidate 1 next week if all goes
well
