Upgrade from 10.2.0 to 10.2.2

Is there a direct migration path from 10.2.0 to 10.2.2?

In my ZCC, the following updates are 'Baselined': 10.1.1, 10.1.2a and 10.1.3.

Not everyone is running Support Pack 2 for 10.2 so it isn't 'Baselined'.

I have an option for 10.3, but it doesn't show 10.2.1 or 10.2.2.

Thanks in advance,

Eric

You should get every device up to 10.2 and when done then apply 10.3.

Re: Upgrade from 10.2.0 to 10.2.2

I guess I am a little nervous going to 10.3 from reading the other posts. 10.2.2 seems to be more stable.

Understandable 🙂

Then you could probably manually import the 10.2.2 update and then deploy it:

NOVELL: Downloads - ZCM 10.2.2 upgrade manual import file

Re: Upgrade from 10.2.0 to 10.2.2

Once I refreshed the update list and 10.3 was added I lost the option to deploy 10.2.2 to my clients. I even had it baselined. Now when I move a device with an old agent(10.2.0) into the zone it doesn't get updated to 10.2.2 automatically.

Has anyone else seen this?

This was an intentional design.
If you open an SR, they may be able to get around this.

Reference Defect#594960

However, it's not an actual defect as was determined to be coded
explicitly to do this.
