Re: ZCC Timeout change in 11.4.1?
Luke,
if you' make the change to custom-config.xml instead, then you do not need to reapply each time there's an upgrade

We have tried that in the past with the custom-config.xml, but it hasn't always carried that setting over for some reason. It may be a mistake we've made. You're welcome to delete this thread if you liked.
Thanks!

Re: ZCC Timeout change in 11.4.1?
the custom setting has never worked for me. it has been set for 960 on my
last three upgrades and never works on windows 2k8 servers. I always have to
change the config.xml. and like you not only am I timing out sometimes after
changing and restarting but I have also been kicked out in the middle of a
task to the login page. Nothing consistent or reproducible. All of this
after upgrading to 11.4.1.

Re: ZCC Timeout change in 11.4.1?
Luke,
no need to delete: we can still work on this - does the file get
deleted perhaps when you upgrade? This has worked for me since ZCM
10.0, so I'm confident in the solution...

Re: ZCC Timeout change in 11.4.1?
As a side note one thing I noticed is when using a appliance in Appliance
Interface -> Zenworks Configuration -> Advanced you can edit the config.xml
but they don't give access to the custom-config.xml from here. You have to
do it from Terminal & File Explorer using downlaod/upload. Would make more
sense to be the other way around.
