ZCM 11 off the network takes long time processing policies
Windows 7 machine with zcm 11 when you login to the machine with no network connection it waits for ages on the "Processing policies for user pre-login" message. Is this by design or is there a setting that can be changed for non network use. We are in a school and staff take thier laptops home.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Leost81,
if you are confident about your "locations" being correct and
converging all your school, then you can set the "unknown" location to
have no servers in it - that way when they take their laptops home, ZCM
will not attempt to contact any servers

Or you can assign it only the servers it can contact from outside your internal network (if you have one).
If you use NWC, you can also make it honor workstation only for faster login, though that might bring some other issues (like user assigned bundles not being granted because it does not login locally to ZCM either)
