Zenworks 2017 System Updates

I setup a new Zenworks 2017 Server on SLES12 SP2

ZCM : 17.0.0.0
ZAM : 17.0.0.1187
ZPM : 17.0.0.737
ZESM : 17.0.0.1187
ZFDE : 17.0.0.1187

All Licensekeys are working, Systemupdates shows "ACTIVE"

but...
when I click "System Updates" -> "Available System Updates" -> "Check for
Updates"
i get following error:

[DEBUG] [01/16/2017 15:38:17.89] [16286] [ZENServer] [90] [zenworks] [ZCC]
[UpdateStatusList: Connection exception]
[com.novell.zenworks.systemupdate.exceptions.UpdateServerConnectionException
: HTTP Status(401): Either Could not get access to resource or authorize
successfully to the NCC

I already opened a CSR - 101043459236
on 28.12.2016 i get following answer:
Hi Andreas, I did some further testing here also and also outside of the
novell network last night. The credentials are correct and that part is
working correctly but I also get the 401 when I am outside of the network.
A
bug has been created for this....

since today i have no more information about this CSR


does anyone have the same issue?

Probably best to just reach out to the assigned Engineer via your SR.

We have the exact same problem, the difference being that we are installed on a Windows 2012r2 server. I have waited to open a SR on this issue until my 1st SR on ZENworks 2017 (Bundles not reporting status) is resolved. A bug report has been issued on mine also and I am waiting for a reply/answer.

I'm using the 2017 appliance, and also can't get registered into NCC. Support told me a few minutes ago they believe the problem is on the NCC side, so my SR has been added to that bug, and should hear something back once it's been resolved.

Same problem here, I get an ACTIVE status on the registration but the same 401 error checking for updates. This is on 2012R2 fresh install via a proxy.

Folks are looking into this.............
It's not consistent and not sure if it is a Code or NCC issue.

This may be resolved now...........Not 100% Sure....But there were some NCC Side Changes that may have resolved the issue.
Try registering your server again and hopefully it will work this time.......

Fixed my problem !!!!! I got the January PRU and applied without issue.

Now only 3 more issues to go....

My appliance side has registered now, but NCC Registration in Infrastructure Management -> Novell Customer Center is giving me this:

Error: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: https://secure-www.novell.com/center/satellite-1.0/xmlrpc

I am getting the same error on my system after attempting to re-register after an upgrade to ZCM2017 (SLES11-SP4).

Hi,

I cannot check for updates. System Update Entitlement State is ACTIVE.
So I'm now trying to rereg the NCC Registration on my just upgraded 2017 VA
by:

zman ncc-register <e-mail> <Registration Key> --reRegister

Just to be sure, which key should I use? From my Micro Focus Customer
center, entitled software, I can get three keys:

2 x ZENworks Configuration Management Activation Code (one from 2016 and one
from 2017)
1 x the actual license key used during the upgrade

I tried all keys with the zman command. All with result:

[Error:Registration to the NCC Server failed due to an invalid input. Check
the zman log for more information.] [] [] [] [ZENServer]

So my stupid question, which key I should use as NCC registration key? And
if the keys I have should work, is there still a NCC (re)registration issue
going on?
