agent not working on 2003 server

I have installed, and reinstalled, the agent on a Win 2003 SP2 server. It seems to install fine, but will not communicate with my ZCM server.
I am wanting to use the 2003 server as a windows proxy for device discovery. It has two NICs installed in it, but I disabled the one that is on a different subnet the last time I installed, but did not make any difference. I have since installed the agent on a few workstations, manually, and they seem to be working fine. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob

If you have made sure that you can reach the primary server from the 2003 box, you can check the zmd-messages under logs\Localstore for error messages. Also, if the device is not listed in ZCC, you can try by mNually registering using "zac reg https://zcmserverFQDN: port".
