what piece needs to install on xp client machine to collect files

Shall I have to install the whole personality migration on each xp
machine to be able to collect files? We are in the process of migrating
all xp workstations to Windows 7 workstations. I wonder if personality
knows where to apply those users' profile since they are different
locations on xp and windows 7.

Can someone give some advice?

Thank you very much!

Re: what piece needs to install on xp client machine to coll

For our XP machines, we've saved the Personality Migration folder, saved to Program Files (Program Files x86 in Win7) upon ZPM installation, to one of our network shares. We then wrote a script that runs personalitymigrationcore.exe with our required switches and preferences and which points to a template we built on that same network share. As long as the user has rights to the network share, they should be able to simply double-click the batch file and the process takes care of itself. Our script looks something like this:
"K:\Novell\Personality Migration\PersonalityMigrationCore.exe" --store --template="K:\Novell\ZPM Migration Template.xml" --file="\\destinationserver\%username%.pnp" --no-span
