win 7 custom admx files

trying to use zen11 to push configurations on win 7 ws, have found reg edits to change the lock/switch user and sleep/hibernate setting but that takes a reboot. want to push those through zen policy with custom admx/adml files. I can see the new settings in the policy on the ws I'm using to edit the policy but it is not getting applied to other ws. I can see that the new admx/adml files are not being uploaded to the zcm server (or at least not being downloaded to the target ws). is this supposed to happen or do I need a way to copy those files out separately to get the added policy entries?

Re: win 7 custom admx files

I have the exact same problem. Did you ever find a solution to this?

Re: win 7 custom admx files

no, not for the admx files. got around it by importing an old adm file and pushing reg files but not the ideal solution.

Re: win 7 custom admx files

i know this reply is a bit late but for anyone else playing with it. I use custom ADMX files and the only place i ever need them is on the machine that is working on the policy. Other then that i've never had to copy anything to the zenworks server or my end workstations.
