Release 7.5 Takes ZENworks Service Desk to the Next Level
Micro Focus has launched ZENworks Service Desk 7.5.
Our PinkVerify ITIL service management solution helps businesses like yours more closely align your IT organizations with your business objectives. As a result, you can avoid downtime, expedite the introduction of new business capabilities and services, and more efficiently use your IT team resources and increase your productivity.
This solution addresses such ITIL processes as change management, incident management, knowledge management, problem management, release and deployment management, request fulfillment, service asset and configuration management, service catalog management, service level management, and service portfolio management.
And release 7.5 of Service Desk improves upon some of those functions with an array of new features. For example, our LDAP Group Store Extension now allows you to list any service that can be offered via an LDAP group membership in the Service Desk store. That means applications, file system permissions, and more can be automated for self-service.
ZENworks Service Desk also now features support for the latest ZENworks Control Center helper. That enables users to remotely control ZENworks 2017 devices. And ZENworks Service Desk 7.5 supports the Android bundles we introduced in the ZENworks 2017 Update 2.
ZENworks Service Desk 7.5, which is offered exclusively as a virtual appliance, can be deployed on a variety of hypervisors. It allows for management via an intuitive web interface and it simplifies SSL configuration.
Plus, this offering is tightly integrated with the ZENworks Unified Endpoint Management platform. That means you can import configuration items from ZENworks, assign ZENworks bundles from Service Desk, remote control ZENworks devices from the Service Desk Console, and more.
