Problem with the ESM Management Console

I have installed single server ESM 3.5 on a w2k3 sp1 server with sql 2000
sp4 installed. The install reports that it was successful. I then install
the management console on the same machine this install also claims it
was successful. I then configure the Management console for
Authentication to an e-Dir tree the test of the connection is successful.
Now here is where the problems start. I try to save it and get an error
saying it can not be saved. The event viewer displays the following
message.

From here it is all downhill, if I try to login I get the manager closes
with an exception error and event viewer displays the following message.

Re: Problem with the ESM Management Console

We have found some issues with ZESM save mechanism to specific eDir environments. The LDAP call we make is different and we are making changes in our code to accommodate this. Have you entered in a case yet? Direct all contact through me and I will get you the build as soon as it is released here in the next week or so.

Thanks,

Todd

The same problem, but only with the second part.

Re: Problem with the ESM Management Console

Do you have the Novell client installed on the box that hosts the Management Console? If yes, is the Novell client logged in as the same user you are trying to authenticate with?
