Audit Platform Agent for non-root eDirectory server

Novell Audit Platform Agent 2011.1r3 allows non-root installation.

Steps to configure PA for non-root eDirectory server:


  1. Install and configure non-root eDirectory server by following the steps given in admin document. Doc Link.

  2. Install PA as non-root user by following the steps given in PA admin document. Doc Link.

  3. Install and configure eDirectory instrumentation as a non-root user by following the steps given in eDirectory admin document section . Doc Link.

  4. Select the events you want to monitor through iManager.

  5.  Run ndstrace -c "load auditds" to load the auditds module.
