Why are you running the repair in the first place? Let's focus on the
actual problem (symptom) that led you to run a repair in the first
place. These "errors" are cosmetic, and really just informational, and
do not matter, but the actual problem that led you to dsrepair may be
worth pursuing.

If you're running repairs for no reason, don't.

Good luck.

Re: About Repair Local data base ( dsrepair )

I am running repair because I did patch an eDirectory server 8.7.3.9 on
Windows 2003 to 8.7.3.10 ftf2 and I am having synchronization errors on
synchronisation status

I am having also errors on eDirectory startup with windows restart ( I
get "Service NDS Server could not establish control over NDS Server" )

For that I am askin the question if it is recommanded to performe a
repair after patching eDirectory

Regards

It's been a while since I've dealt with 8.7 on Windows. How, exactly, was
this patch installed? Does it leave behind any log files? If so, is there
anything in them?

What errors are you getting?

This *sounds* like the service isn't starting.

In general, no. Specifically, in this case, you're not seeing database
errors, so there's no reason to think that a database repair is likely to
do anything useful.
