Cannot install novell-NDSBase

I am no eDirectory expert! In fact, the only reason I ever need to install it these days is related to Novell Messenger. So, I'm attempting to install eDirectory 9.0.3 on SLES 12 SP2 and I'm told that the installation cannot install novell-NDSBase. If I attempt to install this RPM by hand, I'm told that I need libntls.so and libspmclnt.so - I'm not having much luck finding an easy way to install this, nor do I know why I need it!

Pointers appreciated.

Re: Cannot install novell-NDSBase

It may help if you post the output telling you to do it manually, and
instructions you are following.

There is at least one known bug that could cause this, particularly if you
have other things installed at the same time from Novell/Micro Focus, such
as a ZCM agent or something. If that's the case you need to use --nodeps
if you are installing this one RPM without any others, and probably
--force since you apparently are trying to do something manually, maybe
working around the other issue.

Re: Cannot install novell-NDSBase

I'll try nodeps. Actually this is a GMS server, and I only punted to install it there because I fought Windows for two hours not getting a successful install. Thanks Aaron!
