High CPU usage while performing RENAME user

We r using Novell 3.6(SUSE 10). In users container having approx 2500
users. While renaming single User, the CPU usage is increasing to almost
80%. Tested also by STOP-ing target system drivers. tomcat5 restart
clearing off the CPU usage but coming back again while renaming.Any
idea?

Novell is a company, and has never released a '3.6' version of iManager.
Do you mean Identity Manager? If so, please post in the IDM
engine/drivers forum with more information like how this is affecting
you, what traces show, if this happens with other types of events, what
your base (non-"high") CPU utilization is, how many drivers are picking
up the events, how much they do per period of time normally, etc.

Good luck.
