JLDAP's encoding support

I need to make a JAVA application that can connect to an LDAP server and
perform actions such as ldapadd, ldapsearch, ldapdelete, etc. For this, I
tried using JLDAP library that I've found on the openldap homepage.
However, I get an authentication error during ldap bind. I believe this
is caused by some encoding problem. The LDAP server that I am trying to
connect to is using KSC5601 or EUC-KR instead of UTF8. When I start a
temporary LDAP service with UTF8 encoding, my program works fine. So I
had to conclude that it had something to do with the encoding. So.... to
sum it up, my question is ... Does JLDAP classes support euc-kr or
ksc5601 encoding? Or is there something I'm missing?
