LDAP search question: find multivalued 'fullname'

Hello,

I am trying to locate all users who have 2 or more values for either
'givenName' or 'fullName' (we had a buggy IDM driver which added a new
fullName instead of replacing the existing one with the correct value).
I've digged through an LDAP query howto but can't find how to search for
'is present two or more times', only 'is present' (attribute=*). Is
there a way to do this through an LDAP query, or do I have to make an
export and then awk/perl/whatever my way through the dump to locate
double entries?

Joost

Unless the "wrong" attribute is the same for all users, I don't think
there is an easy way to do this via LDAP query (except for your
suggestion of post processing with sed/awk/perl).
How are you able to determine which is the correct value and which is
incorrect?

Why not fix this in IDM (relatively easy to fix in an IDM null driver).
IDM is designed for such things.

Ask in the identity-manager.engine-drivers if you need more help with
that option.

Try the Attribute Tools Gadget
(http://www.dreamlan.com/gadgets.html#attributeTools); the Report
module's "If attribute has this# of values" option can do that for you.
