Modify Members of Group task on iManager meaning

Hello,

In my iManager 2.7.4 "Roles and tasks" on the left panel
Groups-->Modify Members of Group-->(select a
group)-->General(Tab)-->Group Membership(Tab)

in Group Membership tab I can see a list of groups, when I check the
selected group with LDAP Browser these groups do no appear on any
attribute, what do these groups mean ? I do not understand the meaning
of the list of groups under Group Membership(Tab)

Could any one help

Regards

Re: Modify Members of Group task on iManager meaning

The name of the attributes/tabs in iManager don't necessarily correlate
to the eDir/LDAP names

For example, iManager call things like:
username

When you create a user

But in eDir it's really:
cn
and/or
uid

Groups and members have a fun relationship in eDir

'Ldapwiki: Add a user to a Group (eDirectory)'
(http://ldapwiki.willeke.com/wiki/Add%20a%20user%20to%20a%20Group%20%28eDirectory%29)

But if you're using iManager it should "just work", but it sounds like
you're wanting to do things via straight LDAP?
