Plug-ins for iManager 2.7.7

Good day

I was trying to run the mobile (Workstation) version of iManager, I have
downloaded 2.7.7 and have started the install. Currently I have some
plug-ins downloaded already, dnsdhcp, along with storage related (NSS,
AFP, etc,.) However when I downloaded the LUM and the iFolder *.npm
files, I have not been able to find the actual *.npm files. Before I
ask, am I going crazy? The others when I unzipped them extracted the npm
files no problem, however the two mentioned did not have actual npm
files with them. Any thoughts on if I might have done something
incorrectly?

Thank you,

-DS

Re: Plug-ins for iManager 2.7.7

Yes, you're going crazy. I just downloaded the iFolder NPM and it was a
..zip-compressed file and I opened it as such from my system.

Just as a random question, why are you trying to extract them manually?
You should probably install these the same way as any others, by
(preferably) downloading them from within iManager or else by using the
Plugin section of the iManager administration page (from within iManager)
to point to the downloaded NPM, and then iManager will do the rest.

Note that if you're using something broken like internet explorer that it
may "helpfully" change file extensions on you. If you're stuck on windows
that also means that your associated programs may not be able to open the
NPMs because windows cares about things like the extension of a file
instead of looking at the actual contents.

Well thank you for the validation, you're right I'm crazy 🙂

Actually it was an issue with Chrome, when I tried it with IE, and
selected save as target, that worked, and I was able to see the *.npm
files. I will let you know how the rest of the installation proceeds.

Thank you,
