Re: eDir 8.8.6 install failing under Win2k8 R2 x64

Trying to install 32-bit eDirectory on Windows Server 2008 R2. Which is
i guess not supported.

But tried at test server with NICI 64-bit, it went installed
sucessfully even though it was not supported!-.

Re: eDir 8.8.6 install failing under Win2k8 R2 x64

I just got a problem doing this as well. I'm installing 8.8.6 64 bit
to Windows 2008 R2 and when I check the ni.log it says the following at
the end:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Novell\ni\data\ip.db" does not exist!

Any suggestions?

Clean everything from the ni directory and try reinstalling eDirectory?

Well, as you're doing something other than what the original poster in
this thread was doing, you might start your own thread with the details.

I've done 64 bit installs on Windows, so far without problems. Is there
anything unusual about your server here?
