Unable to add a partition to an eDirectory

Hi ,

I have installed a edirectory 9.2 in a fresh server.

Am trying to add this to the existing tree in a diff server - its throwing below error.

WARNING: Unable to check the duplicate server context ****.ou=SERVERS,o=SERVICES.***-IDV-DEV1. : Returning -626

Ports are opened - No firewall blocks

referring the below doc

Re: Unable to add a partition to an eDirectory

Likely a name resolution issue. If SLP is un-/misconfigured you can either use a "hosts.nds" file or use the "-p" parameter to specify an existing replica server on the ndsconfig command line.

My bad - I was using a wrong port instead of using 524, I was using 636

Now its good.

Way too much LDAP these days. Glad you've sorted it out.
