Unable to login to iManager after installing Metadirectory

Hi,

We installed Edirectory, iManager and Metadirectory in windows server
2008(64 bit) in this order.
Before installing Metadirectory, we were able to login to iManager
without any issues, but after Metadirectory installation, and Restart of
applicaiton server(Tomcat) when we tried to login to IManager, we got
the below error:

"Unable to create AdminNamespace. java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could
not initialize class novell.jclient.JClient"

We referred to the below Novell link and ensured that the necessary jar
files are present in our environment
/opt/novell/eDirectory/lib/jclient.jar
/usr/share/java/ldap.jar

Link :https://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7010133

Please help us to resolve the issue.

Many thanks in advance

Re: Unable to login to iManager after installing Metadirectory

You posted this in a forum for eDirectory on another platform; you will
likely have better luck getting help posting in the iManager forum, or if
not there, at least the eDirectory forum for Linux installs.

Re: Unable to login to iManager after installing Metadirectory

According to the trace file in the other forum (UserApp) it seems
iManager cannot get to the Admin object.
Usually you can solve this problem by using the IP Adress of the
eDirectory server in TREE field on the iManager login screen

Hope this will help.
