eDirectory 8.7.3.9, Windows 2000 upgrade to 8.7.3.10

Hello,

I have been having some issues trying to install eDirectory patch
8.7.3.10b for an existing eDirectory 8.7.3.9 on Windows 2000 till I
found this document : http://tinyurl.com/d8r3yqf

So my conclusion is to upgrade OS First or if replica ring contains
eDirectory 8.7.3.9 on mixed OS Windows 2000/2003 then remove Servers on
Windows 2000 before patching all the servers of the replica ring

Is my idea right ?

Regards

Well yes... be sure anytime you install something that prerequisites
(such as the OS involved) are all met. Going from an old version on a
supported version to a newer version on an unsupported/untested platform
isn't going to help with stability.

Good luck.
