eDirectory 9.2 - compatible with IDM 4.6
Hi,
I manage one side of an IDM eDir-to-eDir connection. I'm running IDM 4.6.4 & eDirectory 9.0.4.
The other side recently upgraded their end to IDM4.8.0.1 & eDirectory 9.2. Now I'm seeing an issue with new accounts created on the remote side -- they reach us with unusable passwords. When I run diagpwd against such an account, I get error -1658, which translates to "NMAS_E_MISSING_KEY". I strongly suspect that differing NMAS versions are causing this.
I know I need to get IDM upgraded asap and I'm planning that, but I also need to resolve this password issue right away. Can I upgrade eDirectory to 9.2 without also upgrading IDM to 4.8?

Disregard this; upgrading both eDirectory and IDM to the latest version turned out to be no big deal, and the NMAS error immediately disappeared.
