eDirectory Configuration Params

Hi ,
while installing eDirectory it ask for below params for option create
new dir tree

1) Tree name - ?
2) Server Object context - <servername-NDS>.context
3) admin name- <admin> default value
4) admin password- ?

I want to know that in 2nd param servername-NDS appears as by default
.. So Do we need to Remove NDS suffix from it and provide only
servername.context ?

Please see attached file.

Thanks
Tshepo

No, you'll want the -nds in there if you are stuck installing on windows.
To avoid namespace collisions with things like SMB (which cares a lot
more about names than eDirectory does, for some reason) the -nds is added
so that clients can keep the windows machine and the eDirectory service
unique. You will not have this confusion/problem installing on any other
platform.
