Could anyone of you direct me to if there is one?

I don't think there is. What kind of certification are you looking for?

Re: eDirectory certification?

Do you mean certifying eDirectory itself in some way, or getting
yourself certified as an eDirectory admin or engineer?

Re: eDirectory certification?

Yes, getting myself certified as an eDirectory engineer.
I am looking for some self study program which at the end I can give a
test and then it will certify me stating eDirectory engineer.

There isn't one - there is an IDM certification that was available.

From a training perspective, the courses are 3017 and 3007, as I recall.
The latter is an advanced troubleshooting course (I was one the
instructor who rolled it out). While it's 8.7 and about 10 years old,
most of what's in it should still be relevant with 8.8.

Note that the IDM certification is still available (exam 050–730 Certified Novell Identity Manager
Administrator)

Thanks for the clarification, Alex - I don't know why I wrote "was". 🙂

Re: eDirectory certification?

Thanks for the pointer!

There is one more thing is this a paid certification?
Also, seems it covers on IDM, is there same kind of certification
program for eDirectory?
I remember, there was a separate paper for this when we got certified
for Novell, in the Netware era...?

There are exams that you have to pay for in order to take them. 🙂

Nope. Just on Identity Manager. The only eDirectory certification was
the Novell CDE (Certified Directory Engineer), and that was discontinued
around 2005 IIRC. I was one of the last ones to earn it.

It's a digital file now, but the best way to validate a certification is
using the "publish credentials" option in the certification database.
You can print out the PDF certificate you receive, but any paper
certificate is easy to duplicate/fake, so for verifying your cert, that
option in the cert database is better. 🙂
