eDirectory dsbk restore error -6035

Hi all
Please assist with edir restore
We are running Suse 11 sp1 and edirectory 8.8.7.patch 2 and idm 4.0.1
I am getting error -6035 when restoring edir with dsbk restore -f
backfile -l logfilename -a -o -r -e password

I run my backups with dsbk backup -f /tmp/$DATE$HOST.backup -l
/tmp/$DATE$HOST.log -b -t -w -e password

Thanks

Is this a single-server or multi-server tree? Is rollforward logging
enabled on this server?

Why are you restoring eDirectory on this server?

Can you post copies of the backup and restore log files?

With two servers, you need RFL enabled, or you need to deal with the data
you lost since the backup was taken.

That sounds bad, like the backup file you're restoring is corrupt or
damaged somehow.

All I've been able to find out so far is that -6035 indicates that the
backup file you're trying to restore from is corrupted. A checksum is
used to detect this.

Are you restoring this backup on the same machine it was taken from? Or
is it being transported somehow to a different machine for restore
testing? If so, could it be damaged somehow between where you got it and
where you're using it?
