imanager 2.7.7 plugin issue

2.7.7 on OES 2015 latest updates as of today. I have been having this issue
for a while. any plugin that I try to install that has the "warning
commercial software agree disagree" prompt for example the edir 88 plugin
will just sit there with a downloading and estimating time box but never
progresses and never installs. I have no issues with others. Only those with
the commercial software prompt. I have several plugins like this.
suggestions? Thanks.

Re: imanager 2.7.7 plugin issue

There had been an issue with the plugin installation on Linux, where the
installation completed successfully, but the progress popup 'forgot' to
close.

In these cases you could check the progress in the file system (check
time stamps in your module under portal/modules/) and just close the
browser after a while of file system inactivity.

I think that bug was fixed in more current iManager releases. You might
consider getting iManager 3.x

Re: imanager 2.7.7 plugin issue

I have actually left it alone for hours. and the same plugin keeps coming up
as available. there are currently about six where I have this prompt and
they won't install vs all the others that don't have this prompt and they
install fine. I believe it has to do specifically with the "restricted
commercial software" nonsense.

Re: imanager 2.7.7 plugin issue

Did you restart Apache Tomcat as required in order for the plugin to
no-longer show as available?

Re: imanager 2.7.7 plugin issue

Often as the other plugins that have installed successfully required it.
