unable to access edirectory from imanager console

Hi,


I am unable to access Edirectory from Imanager console and throwing following error. Please help me on this.

(Error-748)A Conn Timeout error occurred.

This usually happens, other than when eDirectory is down, when a firewall
or other networking misconfiguration prevents the connection. On windows
in particular verify firewalls are disabled for your test. Otherwise,
verify that TCP 524 (by default) is listening and accessible from the
iMangaer system.

Just like troubleshooting option (if you have iManager installed on the same box), try to open iManager from the server console (localhost/127.0.0.1/server ip)
If it works from server console and doesn't work from "external" client - FW or network issue.

And if you do not have iManager installed on the same box, try iMonitor, which
should always be available and connects basically the same way (JClient -> NCP
-> Edir).
