-3.2.0 Printing/Spooler hangs?! on Windows

Hi all,


The printers are installed through ZenWorks 2017 (17.3.0.0).
On almost 60 client PC (50 of them are with Windows 10 Pro x64 1803, 10 of them with Windows 7 SP1 x64, iPrint Client v6.16.00) comes randomly the next situation:
The printing hangs when clicking in any application print command (the printer selection never comes up) OR if i want to open the Control panel Printers and faxes/devices.
If i restart manually the spooler and sometimes iprntsrv service, then the printing works again till random times, and the services needs restart again.

There was some fight with Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.0.0.6499 who blocked iprntsrv service in Host Intrusion prevention module, and Apllication control module also. (At now these modules are disabled on all Clients!, and the Kaspersky logs are now clear from any application blockings.)

In the machines c:\NDPS\ippErrs.txt there are same logs at machine startup time, but not at the printing time:

Of course in the EventViewer there are no problems appeared.

And the printer policies (which comes from ZenWorks) are the same for more than a half year ago.


The problems are come from after i installed the iPrint 3.2 update (iPrint3-2018-20).


Has somebody similar problem or any idea?
What I need to check now?

Dear bobjohnson,

it seems to be this is the working solution for my problem.
I've been tested on 6 pc's (both Win7 and win 10 clients) and the issue gone away.

Kaspersky agains't didn't love the iPrint system...
