Access Control

Using Imanager / Iprint / manage printer /access control - there is user
role. Presumably this is to restrict the users who can install or use
this printer. But no restrictions replicate to the users. As long as they
have an account they can install any printer configured in iprint and
print to all aswell. Is this a fault or correct and im just reading it
wrong?

Is it true I need to setup SSL just to restrict user access using Iprint ?

Netware 6.5

Thanks

Users in 'User Role' can print and manage their own jobs.

It seems that your setup is non secure mode.
Do the users have full admin rights on their desktops ? If so, yes, they
can install printers.
It's iprint.ini file that is responsible for how printers can be set up on
desktops. Its location is sys:apache2/htdocs/ippdocs (NW6.5)

Yes, you have to setup secure printing
