ActiveX and iPrint

Hello,

Situation:

Windows 7
Internet Explorer 8
OES2 Linux (sp2) with iPrint
iPrint Client 5.3.x
ZCM 10.3.1
Windows 2008 nework

We are just in the middle from a migration from Windows XP to Windows 7.

On the Windows 7 image is the iPrint client installed. When users are
trying to add some printers they get the message "iPrint Client is not
installed... " Of course they click on "Yes" 🙂 They don't see the
yellow ActiveX install-bar in IE

How can I solve this problem? (before Monday 😞 )

If I can do this via ZCM then please let me know how to do this.

If I can do this bij a Group Policy then please let me know how to do this.

Regards,

Frank

If you add the OES2 server as a trusted site, you shouldn't get
prompted... at least that's how it works with IE7 & XP. Haven't tried
this yet with IE8 & Win7.
