Cannot delete print jobs
Hi,
My test server is nw65sp5 with nw65nipped, nw65sp5c_ndpsm and iprntnw65c
applied.
Now I can't delete jobs in WindowsXPsp2 Printers and Faxes
Security Level on the PA is Medium and Secure printing is enabled, if I
backrev iprntnw65c I can delete jobs.
The only difference found is IPPSRVR in iprntnw65c.
Any ideas?
TIA

Deleting jobs via the Printer Folder should only allow deletion of jobs by a
user that where submitted by that user. Is this the behavior that use to
work and now doesn't??
Have you tried back-rev'ing the ippsrvr to see what effect that has??

Hi Leslie
We had the same problem and back revved it to the SP5 one and it worked
fine.
I am sending an email to patchfeedback@novell.com about this!

Hi There
Even better I got feedback from Novell already and they said the following
Thank you for reporting this problem. I have run my own test and I can
duplicate what you are seeing. This is valuable information. I am
going to write a bug and have this investigated by engineering.
Thank you again.
Excellent service!

Hi,
Users should be able to delete jobs they submitted and any jobs if they have
Operator Role, I couldn't do any deletion.
Back-Revved ippsrvr.nlm to sp5 version and job deletion is working as
expected.
Operator can delete any job, User can only delete their jobs.
