Configure Remote Printer Management

Hi,

we usually use RPM to install printers on users workstations. Is
NWAdmin the only way to configure RPM?
I can´t find anything in iManager. ConsoleOne never supported NDPS, so
I think there is no SnapIn for ConsoleOne.

Thanks in advance

Re: Configure Remote Printer Management

RPM will be available for iPrint in a future, but when you talk about
NDPS RPM, then this is wrong forum, look to ndsp-neps forum.

Re: Configure Remote Printer Management

You can configure RPM via iManager, it is located under the iPrint role. It is important to remember that RPM currently only works for NDPS printers, but soon will also manage iPrint printers.

Re: Configure Remote Printer Management

Correct. You must use iManager. ConsoleOne can't (won't) do it.

You should see an RPM entry under iPrint in iManager. You won't find
RPM configuration from within the Printer Agent configuration like you
would under NWAdmin.

What version of NetWare, including SP? What version of iManager?

Re: Configure Remote Printer Management

Thanks to all who answered.
Found the RPM Configuration und eriPrint in iManager. Erroneous I
searched on the user-objects as in NWAdmin.

Best regards.
