DPMW32.EXE hangs during shutdown

We have been getting this a lot lately during shutdown of Windows XP SP2
computers. We are running Netware 6.5 SP6 with Novell Client 4.91 sp3.
During the shutdown of Windows XP it comes up with a window DPMW32.exe
"End Now". I have not found any recent issues about this on the knowledge
base.

Re: DPMW32.EXE hangs during shutdown

Brad,

DPMW32.EXE is actually the program triggered at login that does the NDPS
RPM (remote printer management) work. Once it's task done, it should stop.
It looks like some RPM task got stuck and did not finish thus keeping it
open. I suggest you enable RPM debugging. If I remember correctly, you
enable this in the RPM section of the user properties in NWADMN32.exe
