Data submission failed
Hi!
iPrint Appliance 1.0.1.69 wo. latest 1.0.1 patch. Windows 7 Pro/Ent 64 bit. iPrint Client 5.9.4. Yesterday and last week I had two issues where iPrint was unable to print from Word neither from PDF, but was able to print out test page and also at least on one case also from Excel. Odd. But. In both cases I was able to resolve issue removing printer and reinstalling it. Device restart didn’t help.
Any ideas, is this some iPrint Client problem or … server problem, perhaps, probably not?
Not this case https://forums.novell.com/showthread.php/462978-Data-Submission-Failed.
Yes, have also HP LaserJet printers – 1320n and P2055n.
More thanks, Alar.

Hi again!
Today had another similar issue with Windows 7 x64. iPrint declares “data submission failed” and helped out reinstalling printer.
Any ideas?
More thanks, Alar.

Hi!
Well, so far still have this problem with various of systems. And seems to, yes, this problem arise with Word, not with Excel (on same box) nor Adobe … seems to … just a Word. Can’t dig any deeper as usually need to solve this problem ASAP and reinstalling printer (removing and installing again) seems to solve problem for a while – depends, week or two or … . Can’t say exact time between.
Strange. It is somehow connected to Word 2010 (so far, mostly used around here) and iPrint, can’t be sure, though.
