HP LaserJet 3600N - Error / Printer Off Line
We recentlly got in a new HP LaserJet 3600N. We set it up just like all
the other Lexmark and HP printers we have, but this one doesn't seem to
want to work.
I am able to assign it all its IP info and connect to it via its admin
webpage. I've created its NDPS object in eDirectory and set it up for
iPrint, just like all the other printers we have. However, this
printer is always displaying "Ready" on the printer but "Error Printing
Printer Off Line" when viewed in iManager. Print jobes will showup in
its job list in iManager, but never come out.
Has anyone had a similar issue? HP keeps telling me everything looks
good as far as their printer goes and point towards Netware.
Our iPrint server is NW6SP5.

Answered my own question....
Turns out the embedded jetdirect network card on the 3600 series does
not support Novell NDPS or iPP. Doh!
