HP Laserjet 1320 driver...

Hi,

We've had an issue raised regarding the printing preferences for the HP Laserjet 1320 printer. When installed using a local port, or shared from another XP desktop the option is available within Printing Preferences > Printing Shortcuts to choose how many pages per sheet to print. When installed using iPrint (either iPrint direct or spooling through server) this option isn't available. It seems to be the same situation for the HP cLJ 3600 printer, and may be so for other models. Has anyone come across this (or similar) and might there be a workaround for this?

We had that problem with 1320N, we solved it by changing driver (I think we
where using PCL6 and changed to PCL5)

Hi,

I'd tried the PS, PCL5 and PCL6 drivers (ones available from HP website) , but all produced the same result here.
If anybody has any suggestions - I'd be glad to hear them.

Do you have KB884897 installed on your workstations? Grab KB893225 as well. Newer print drivers (V3) were broken by MS for network print providers. Give that a try as well

Installed KB884897 and KB893225. Second patch seemed to enable the necessary functionality.
