Re: IP not show in ndpsm in the

Hello,

Use https://DNSname-server:8009/PsmStatus? Log in and then select the
printer agent. You'll see all information concerning the printer agent.
Also the gateway load command with the IPaddress. For changing the IP
address goto 'Configuration Options'.

From the server console you can see doing the following steps:

- go to the NDPS Manager screen on the server console
- choose Printer Agent List
- hit ENTER on the Printer Agent you wish to configure
- hit ENTER on Information (See Form)
- hit ENTER on Gateway Status: Active

When you want to change the IP address here:

- hit the INSERT key
- hit ENTER to the message
- Replace the existing IP address with a new one
- hit the ESC key
- hit ENTER to the Yes prompt
- hit ENTER to the prompt instructing you to restart the Printer Agent.
- hit ESC to back a screen
- hit ENTER on Status and Control for that printer agent.
- hit ENTER on Shutdown Printer
- hit ENTER on on the Shutdown status
- hit ENTER on Start Up Printer

*Never* use those. These are a legacy left over from the very early dates
of NDPS and will will break your printer configuration if you use it.
Novell should have updated or removed this menu option years ago when they
introduced NDPSGW.NLM, but this has never been done and so regularly users
destroy their iPrint configuration by using this option.

Re: IP not show in ndpsm in the

Thanks for the information.

In the configuration options (throught Remote Manager):
Configuration Options for Printer Agent 'P_U26T0100'

Enable Auditing Disable
Enable iPrint Disable
Require SSL Disable

Printer Location (This line is empty)

Gateway Autoload Command

Note: Printer agent restart required

But here i cant change the ip, ISNT a iprint printer.

we are migrating or network (1.123 netwre servers, to Netware 6.5), for
problems whith "tree walking" we Can,t use Imanager, i create the printer
in nwadmin whit the ip, but in 6.5 in ndps manager server console appear
empty
