IPrint 4.15 Printing garbage
We are using Netware 6.5 SP5. This is happening consistantly where a
print job is sent and random charecters accross the top of the page spit
out until you turn the power off and restart. After the restart it prints
out fine with no problems until the PC is restarted and then it happens
again. This is occuring with an HP 1300, 1320, and 1200 printers. They
are all running through a JetDirect Card, one of the models is J3258B.
The firmware on the JetDirect Cards have been updated, and they have the
correct printer driver in the broker. This problem was not occuring when
using the Q based printing.

We don't have those models of HP printers so I don't have first hand
knowledge about this, but I have heard that NOSNMP -switch added to the
end of the agent load line solves many problems with those models. Try that.

I haven't seen that problem, but we had other issues with the 1300 & 1320
that were resolved by adding the NOSNMP switch to the gateway load string.
Also make sure you are using the Novell Gateway and not the HP NDPS
Gateway. The HP is no longer supported and using it causes other various
issues.
