Iprint Upgrade 4.20 to 4.30

hello,

after the iprint upgrade from version 4.20 to version 4.30 with iprint.ini
the systray icon of iprint disappeared? then i reboot the workstation and
after 15 minutes the icon appears.

is there any way to let the icon appear faster.

i have also tested the regkeys for iprint, with no good result?

any ideas?

thx

Re: Iprint Upgrade 4.20 to 4.30

you can launch it manually by typing iprntctl TRAY_ICON in the run or in a
dos box.

Re: Iprint Upgrade 4.20 to 4.30

The tray icon only appears after the ICM (iPrint Client Management)
process has been completed. Of course client32 needs to be installed on
the workstation for ICM to be enabled. So if it takes a long time to look
up the user, groups, containers to see what has been configured in eDir
then the icon will take a long time to appear.
