Iprint client for MACOSX El Capitan.

Subject says it all. Do we have an eta when there will be an updated client? I see other Novell products getting updates for it.

Thanks

or to manually upgrade the mac client... i also checked the downloads and patches page without success... any hints or tips and tricks?

Re: Iprint client for MACOSX El Capitan.

Hello everybody,

I have updated my SLES 11 OES 11 SP2 server. But for some reason it does not upgrade the client RPM which include the iprint client software.

Can you please re-upload the patch so I can download it.

Or is there any what do download the standalone version for only the iPrint clients?

I am not using iPrint appliance but an clustered version with OES 11 SP2.

Thank you!

You need to look at the local disk on a node that has been updated. The key to get this right
is that if it is a ncs cluster you need to have iprint running during the update of the node. It
copies the file to the cluster resource volume. You can find what you need as I remember in
in /var/opt/novell/.... I don't have the exact path handy. If you need the correct path let me
and I can respond when I have time.

The November 2015 Scheduled Maintenance Update includes an updated
novell-iprint-client RPM which has the 6.02 clients. What does "rpm -q
novell-iprint-client" report?

No need.

.... the novell-iprint-client RPM from the November 2015 OES 11 SP2
Scheduled Maintenance Update 10857 includes the 6.02 client. It's
possible to download this from Patch Finder then grab the relevant files
via rpm2cpio and cpio ... but it's not supported.
