Iprint deployment problem
Hello,
I have deployed IPrint client on every client PC's (~100), thinking that everything working fine after some tests on a VM. Today I saw on a software report that IPrint client install every languages on every computer, approximatively 40 Iprint Client per computer
How can I solve this problem, need your help to create a correct bundle and to uninstall/delete every wrong version.
Actually my IPrint bundle is composed of the nipp-s.exe file that I had downloaded from a client computer and it simply runs on every clients computer and erase the previous verson of the iprint client.
Thank you in advance.
PS: The 40 iprint client can only be seen on the zenworks report, here I taked a screenshot:
http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/408244iprintGRV.jpg
It's on C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX1\files \nls\xxx where xxx is for language "fra", "eng"...
I can see the same issue on a PC where the bundle isn't deployed and where it's the old iprint client version 5.5, it's on C:\Windows\SysWOW64\iprint\nls\xxx

Which version of the iPrint Client have you just deployed and what was
the previous version?
What version of Windows and Service Pack are the client PCs running?

The above lists iPrint Client 5.9.2.0 (5.92) for all languages except
for English (enu) which has 5.9.4.0 (5.94).

Are those the C:\Windows\...\xxx entries? I ask because they're also
listed as 5.9.2.0 (with the exception of English at 5.9.4.0).

Hello smflood, thanks for your reply.
The new version is the 5.94 and the previous version was 5.6.
We have some client on Windows XP sp3 x86 and other on Windows 7 x64
Yes it is. I don't know from where the 5.92 come...
I just tried to deploy the client on a laptop and everything is fine, just one entry of 5.94 version, maybe the problem donn't come from the bundle?!
I also see that the Iprint client 5.94 is in french on the users computers so I don't know why we only see "enu" entry on the report?
Regards

Issue appears to be part of the IPrint installation not from the deployment. Beacause if I install it by a classic way we also see many entries of IPrint on the client computer information.
Does anyone has an idea from where it comes or how to fix it? Am I the only one with this problem?
Thanks in advance
