Migration from OES to appliance

Hello,

im planning to migrate my central iprint server, currently in OES, to 4/5 remote iprint appliances. I went through the documentation and used miggui to migrate the printer objects flawlessly.
The thing is that we have all printers distributed and installed via zenwork printer policies. I already did some tests and even migrated 1 of the remote locations already and after i updated the printer policy on zenworks, they don't install as it should.

Since the iprinter server is changed, they should install a new printer and remove the old one right? It seems sometimes it does and other times it doesn't.
What is the best way to do this migration to minimize the "user damage"

Can someone please give me some input in this matter?

I would really appreciate it. Thanks

I do not know how zenwork works but this is the easiest way:

url printer redirection

Auto Redirection of Printer#

You can automatically redirect the printer from the client if the
printer redirection is set up in the server. The older printer is
removed and the new printer is installed on the client.

The client displays a pop-up informing you that your currently installed
printer will be automatically uninstalled and a new printer will be
installed in its place.

Enabling Printer Agent Redirection#

Printer Agent Redirection is useful when you are decommissioning an
iPrint printer and want to automatically redirect printing to a
different iPrint printer without users manually deleting and
reinstalling the printer. Redirection can continue even after you delete
the Printer Agent for iPrint printers only. bla bla bla
