NDPS/iPrint IP address

It was suggested that this question be posted here instead of the edirectory
forum. so...

Is the IP address of an NDSP/iPrint printer stored in eDir? If so where can
it be found (attribute)? I've been poking around via an
LDAP browser and DSBrowse but I can not find the IP address of the printer
itself. I did find the "networkAddress" but it seems to be
the address of the host server, not the printer.

I can see what you mean. You could try dumping all print objects via ICE
and see if you can see it then...

As mentioned in another thread somewhere, try

The reason I posted the question is; I am trying to write a PHP script that
will search via LDAP and list all my printers. I've gotten that part to work
but I wanted to also pick up the IP address so I could incorporate it into a
link so I could just click the link and go to the printer's web interface.

I've gotten one page to work quite nicely that lists all my NCP servers and
it displays the link so I can quickly access the server's NRM.

I think the printer IP addresses are listed in the NDPs databases, not
NDS. So LDAP isn't going to work. All I've done here is given myself a
link to the NDPS servers NRM\PsmStatus page.

I like this idea. I just submitted a product enhancement to Novell.
