OKI B4350 / W7 / iprint 5.40 not working?
Hi,
have anyone a runnig OKI B4530 Printer on W7 Professional 32bit and Iprint?
I didn't for the hell become these Constellation running.
- I try newest Microsoft PCL and PS Driver for these Printer from Windows Update.
But there is always no Connection to the Printer availible or "No Printer found" (Error 0x00000bc4).
But HP2015 Printer works fine....
Latest Iprint on OES2SP2 Cluster Ressource.
Look to be Driver Problem.
Can i debug something or how can i find the Reason for the Problem?
Any Hints?
Regards
Thomas

Ok,
just for Info.
Printer Driver Generator didn't bring better Results (didn't running korrect on W7).
So, last chance ...place a Call to Novell.
Thank you

Ok,
found a Workaround.
- Create additional local! Printer with Port ipp:\\<iprint url> associated and OKI Printer Driver
- run fixit from Microsoft Webside Microsoft Fix it Supportcenter
- remove nofunctional iprint Printer
Run fine now...

Just for Info.
Found the Problem.
I have to switch to Workstation Printers (not User Printers) on Vista/W7.
So i changed to that Entry in iprint.ini
------------------
AllowUserPrinters = 3
