Port Handler and NDPS Gateway

I have some printers that load both the NDPS gateway and Port Handler.
I can not find a way to remove the port handler entry. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,

Re: Port Handler and NDPS Gateway

You probably have printers using the old Novell gateway. Use the
pacvrt.exe tool to convert all printers to the current gateway. You find
the tool here:

Re: Port Handler and NDPS Gateway

I used the pacvrt.exe tool. I will post a part of the log file from running it so you can tell what I am talking about.

Printer Agent: Dunbar_PURPLE_BW_1_Sided_L241 PA 92 of 93
Old GW: NDPSGW PORT=LPR HOSTNAME=ps1uniprint.wright.edu PRINTERNAME=L_241_HP5100_BW_Q
Old PH: PH PORT=LPR HOSTADDRESS=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx PRINTERNAME=PASSTHROUGH
Printer Control Snapin attributes were successfully updated.
The gateway for this PA was not updated because this gateway type was not selected for conversion.

When the printer loads it loads both the NDPSGW and the PH gateway.

Thanks,
Chris

In that case it seems like a previous conversion went wrong. You should
manually remove the PH string. You can for example do this from the server
console by viewing the details of the printer, select the PH option, and
when you get the screen showing the PH string, press the INS key to edit
the value and just leave an empty string.

Re: Port Handler and NDPS Gateway

When I try this using the NDPS manager screen, It still load PH gateway. When I blank out the PH string it still leaves the following in the printer:
ph port=lpr hostname=

Is there another way to edit the printer string? Thanks,
Chris

Did you do it like I said? You should not use the configuration option in
the NDPS Manager but from the simple properties screen you have to edit
the PH string.
