Printer does not respect spool quota limit

Hi all.

We have one printer (HP Color LaserJet 4550DN) that seems to be able to
bypass spooling configuration quota limit. It has done 4GB file twice
now in our printing server volume, which in turn gets full and, of
course, nobody can print after that.

Doing 4 GB file is obviously some sort of error.

Question is: How to debug what is causing this and how is it possible
that it can bypass spooling size limit?
