Unknown Novell Error

When installing a printer on WinXP Client using iPrint I receive the
following Novell iPrint error message:
+----------------------------------------------------------+
Error message: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
Error group: Windows
Error code: 997
+----------------------------------------------------------+

A search for the specific text in the Novell Knowledge base yields a
wealth of nothing.

iPrint is running on SLES 9

Re: Unknown Novell Error

bkreps,

What version/support pack of Windows on the clients, and what version of
the iPrint Agent?

SLES, are you sure it isn't an OES server? I was under the impression
iPrint only worked on NetWare and OES.
Any patches installed on the server?

Does the error show on all workstations where this printer is installed on?

Re: Unknown Novell Error

What iPrint client version are you using? If it is an old version, try if
the problem does also occur with the current version 4.12:

Re: Unknown Novell Error

Could be a driver related error as well (possibly). What driver is
assigned to this printer, and have you tried a different driver... Of
course the question of "does it happen on all xp clients" is significant in
this case....
