Update and LDAP for iPrint Appliance

We installed iPrint Appliance 1.1 and I manually created all of the printer objects, duplicating printer names and settings from our production iPrint server. Only did this because we've been having a lot of problems with our current production iPrint server.

My questions are these. How do I update the iPrint Appliance as I don't think it uses the same yast online update that our normal OES servers use? And, I synced the appliance with LDAP, does that only allow authentication for mobile devices to sync? I thought that also allowed me to use other ID's to login to iManager and psmstatus, but it doesn't seem to.

Updates are made available on http://download.novell.com/patch/finder/ , you apply the patches using the instructions on the patch download page like here on this one: http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=xjS2WRFFFFM~
If you setup ldap sync then you users can print from mobile devices with their existing ldap credentials, multiple admins are not yet supported I believe but there is an enhancement request for that feature: https://ideas.microfocus.com/MFI/novell-iprint/Idea/Detail/667
