Uploading printerdrivers for Win8.1?

Hi!
I'm testing out iPrint Appliances 1.0.1
I'm testing iPrint for Win8/8.1

I use IE to upload drivers til Drive-store, but in Win8.1 it says that the this OS is not supported.

Don't iPrint Appliances 1.0.1 support Win8.1?
In documentation it claims that is do support 8.1!?

Yes i've already installed Client 5.94

But there is some truble with iMan-plugin for iPrint.
It wan't upgrade. I downloaded the latest version to upgrade, but it has been "uninstalling Plug-in" for almost an hour 😕

you can not do that, it is an appliance and it will not accept other
snapin that the one shipped.
The tid mentioned to use compatibility mode with IE in win 8/8.1. It
works for me. Also you can use the iprintcmd utility from the windows Pc
to upload drivers.

Re: Uploading printerdrivers for Win8.1?

Ooookeeiiii! This is news for me. I have not read anywhere about this limits.
In the TID 7014111 it says about installing latest iManager-plugin, but there is not mention any warnings about not to do this om iPrint Appliances.
The TID mention about copy the latest iPrint Client into the iPrint Appliances, but it doesn't mention on HOW. Iprint Appliances dont have any file-sharing-service like NCP, Samba, NFS etc.
How do i copy iPrint Client into den iPrint Appliaces?

To be fair to TID 7014111 the only mention of iPrint Appliance is in
relation to updating the iPrint Client - the references to iManager are
in relation to OES11 SP1.

SCP. Enable SSH and then use something like WinSCP to copy the latest
iPrint Client across.

You mean to copy from Linux to Linux? scp.
